The Luxury Gift Guide | Christmas Countdown No. 5 Part II
The Luxury Gift Guide is one of my favorites to create because I love sharing the brands that I love and because my interpretation of luxury is a bit different from other people–it’s two-fold. For one, I think luxury is incorrectly interpreted as $$$$. I’ve seen so many people use the “luxury gift guide” as a way to show off the most expensive products without thinking about the consumer or the quality. While many luxury items do come at a higher price point, luxury can be attainable, as well.
Secondly, the most luxurious item you can give someone is the one that they wouldn’t otherwise purchase themselves — even if they can afford it. For example, the most expensive, individual item on this list is by 111SKIN which is an amazing skincare brand out of London. I have some of their products in heavy rotation in my own beauty routine, but at a much lower price point. However, I gave my mother the Celestial Black Diamond Cream some time ago, and it’s her favorite indulgence each night. There are many things she would spend the cost of this cream on, but a moisturizer is not one of them. Is there a gift your loved ones would never splurge on for themselves?
With this guide, I wanted to share some of the luxury items that I love and use often that come at different price points, from $45 to $1,095. What are your favorite luxury items?
